Quinoa and milk.
This is a delicious quinoa and milk recipe. Make it into a sweet dessert or healthy breakfast.
Use Organic or non GMO ingredients for a healthier recipe.
Ingredients:

4 cups of water

A pinch of sea salt

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon or 1 stick

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract or stick

2 cups of quinoa
-
1 cup 1/2 of almonds or other nut/nut’s

2 cups of coconut milk
-
1 or 2 cups of whole organic milk, your choice.

Brown sugar.
Amount of sugar desired. 2 tablespoons is what I use if I want to sweeten as dessert. Or I sweeten my own portion when served.
(You could add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and/or raisins/cranberries/goji berries when adding the cinnamon for an even healthier bowl)
Like an “Arroz con leche.”
Cooking directions:
1. Heat up water in a pot, bring to a boil. Add salt & cinnamon.
Whisk.
2. Add Almonds. Chopped, sliced or whole.
3. Add quinoa. Whisk.
4. Add coconut milk.
Whisk.
5. Set heat to low and cover.
After 15 – 20 minutes.
6. Add Whole milk or substitute.
7. Add sugar.
Final whisk.
8 to 10 minutes more on low.
8. Serve warm or cold.
